As a symbol of continuity, interlacing knotwork was frequently incorporated into Celtic designs and to this day, this concept lends itself perfectly to being incorporated into exquisite jewellery. The seemingly endless spirals and interlaced weaves which are a feature of Celtic design offer me countless possibilities as a goldsmith.
