THE AURA COLLECTION ~ SUBLIME SAPPHIRES

Sapphires are available in every colour except red, but although I do use fancy sapphires of different colours, I have decided here to keep to blue sapphires of the sky; from the deep blue of the evening sky to the shining mid-blue of a lovely summer's day.
The celestial blue of the sapphire is associated with feelings of sympathy and harmony, friendship and loyalty. Blue is also the favourite colour of more than half the population, so perhaps it is not surprising that sapphires are an ever popular choice of gem to include in your hand crafted gold jewellery.
